LODDON TOWN COUNCIL

We enjoyed wonderful weather, wonderful company, and equally wonderful coffee (thank you Rosy Lee’s!) on Sunday morning!🌞👨‍👩‍👧‍👦☕️

Love 💚 Loddon volunteers, Bev, Sue, Nick, and Andy began to make inroads to clear grass and weeds from the steps and paths at Loddon Staithe.  Jonathan, myself…and not forgetting Mervyn (who even came a couple of days ahead of us!) edged and tided the B-line bed of leaves and grass and Peter and Roy made an amazing job of clearing the weeds and debris on George Lane, opposite ‘Takeaway’ corner!

Thanks to you all, also to Rodney and Bernard for advising us on the B-Line bed and to lovely Caroline for generously supplying us with refreshments.

Our next event will be stripping out the winter violas from the town planters, to make way for the summer bedding plants (hooray!), on Sunday 18th of May, meeting 10am on Church Plain 🙏
