Referendum on the adoption of the Loddon and Chedgrave (Chet) Neighbourhood Plan


1. A referendum will be held on 14 November 2024 to decide on the question below: Do you want South Norfolk Council and the Broads Authority to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Loddon and Chedgrave to help them decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

2. Applications be included in the register of electors for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer, Horizon Centre, Peachman Way, Broadland Business Park, Norwich, NR7 0WF by midnight on Tuesday, 29 October 2024. Applications can be made online at: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

3. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 30 October 2024 if they are to be effective for this election. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote

4. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s document valid for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 6 November 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

5. Applications for a proxy vote at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 6 November 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote

6. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by not later than 5pm on Thursday, 14 November 2024. Note: there are specific criteria that apply to emergency proxy applications.
